House Rules

Please do not park on the left side of the driveway, as this is a shared access point used by our neighboring property to reach their home. At no time should their vehicles be blocked or their access restricted. Dogs are welcome at The Overlook; however, cats are not permitted. Whenever dogs are outside of the home, they must remain leashed at all times with no exceptions. Doggy bags are provided at the rear of the home next to the hot tub for your convenience. Please be sure to clean up after your pet and dispose of waste bags in the outdoor trash can located at the top of the driveway. Guests are financially responsible for any pet-related damages, including damage to furniture, paint, doors, linens, or flooring. A dog crate that accommodates up to two dogs is provided, and dogs are required to be crated anytime guests are away from the property. As fellow dog lovers, we kindly ask that pets remain off all furniture during your stay. Due to the home’s close proximity to neighboring properties, outdoor quiet hours must be observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We ask that all guests be respectful of our neighbors by keeping noise levels to a minimum during these hours. Guests should also adhere to the approved number of occupants listed on the reservation. If you have any questions regarding additional visitors, please contact the host in advance. Parties, disruptive gatherings, and unauthorized events are strictly prohibited. Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere on The Overlook property, including the use of tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, or similar products. Additionally, guests may not use the property for photography, filming, or content creation intended for commercial use or profit without prior written approval from the host. Any damages exceeding the security deposit amount will be billed directly to the guest and may be reported through Airbnb.
